Spain Elections: Real Results show lead for center-right PP

Spaniards went to the polls for the second time in 6 months after a hung parliament in the December elections. Spain is the euro-zone’s fourth largest economy. This is closely eyed by the whole continent, especially after the big Brexit.

According to exit polls of 132,000 people, center right PP came out first but the second place radical left Podemos and traditional left PSOE could obtain an absolute majority in parliament.

However, real results look totally different: another hung parliament but with a much clearer lead for the center-right PP ahead of the center-right upstart Cs. Within the ranks of the Left, there are no big changes, which is a big disappointment for Podemos.
