Andres de Goyeneche has been appointed the Chief Country Officer for Deutsche Bank Chilean operations. Mr. Goyeneche has worked with Deutsche Bank since 2009 in various capacities such as the Head of Capital Markets and Treasury Solutions and the Chief Executive of Deutsche Bank Chile S.A.
In his new role, where he will be in charge of all Deutsche Bank’s operations in Chile, Mr. Goyeneche will report to Bernardo Parnes, the bank’s CEO of Latin America region, and to Alberto Ardura, the Head of Capital Markets and Treasury Solutions in Latin America. He will operate out of Santiago, Chile.
Meanwhile, BNP Paribas has made some executive changes in its London Electronic Markets Team as it prepares to roll out Centric in Europe this October. The bank has appointed Michael Ferreol, Jean-Marc Friess and Hugo Coppier to various roles supporting Centric, which is a multi-product, application-based trading platform that aims at optimizing business for all asset classes, including FX.
The three will all report to Thomas Soede, the co-Head of Electronic Markets at BNP.
In his role, Mr. Friess, who joins BNP Paribas from Global Trade & Transaction Banking (GTTB), will help support product development for the Centric trading platform, along with other applications such as FX+ Cash bundle. Mr. Ferreol, who also joins from GTTB, will also work alongside Mr. Friess in overseeing the FX+ Cash bundle operations.
Mr. Coppier previously worked with BNP Paribas, though as a consultant. His main role will be to reorganize the launch and distribution of the Centric platform.
