Forex trading can certainly be a lonely business. Chatting, reading and commenting online helps, but is also limited. FXstreet launched face to face forex meetups around one year ago in Barcelona. They have since reached the major financial centers of New York and London and are now available in 3 additional cities: Sydney, Los Angeles and Toronto.
I have the honor in speaking in the Barcelona meetup. The topic is “5 Points on Trading the Newsâ€. Apart from the new cities, the meetups consists of a quick introduction, a talk about a forex related topic and then some drinks at a nearby bar.
The meetups, held on the first Thursday of the month, are a great opportunity to learn something new, meet like minded people and also have a good time that will cheer you up towards the next trade.
