Forex Broker OANDA Appoints New Chief Marketing Officer

Leading forex trading firm OANDA has appointed a new marketing chief as it seeks to expand its business internationally.

OANDA appointed Drew Izzo to the post of Chief Marketing Officer, where he will guide the broker’s global marketing and communication strategies. Before joining OANDA, Izzo was the Chief Executive Officer of Athlete.com, where he was also the co-founder. He also worked in various marketing roles with different companies, including at Interbank FX, which was later purchased by TradeStation two years ago.

“With the perfect mix of entrepreneurial spirit, marketing vision, and forex experience, Drew is a valuable addition to our senior management team,” said Ed Eger, President and CEO, OANDA Corporation in a press release. “Coupling his bent for research and analytics as the backbone of a sound strategy, and with an emphasis on the customer’s voice, I know that Drew is a good fit for the OANDA brand. He will further distinguish our company as an industry leader and the best choice for every trader worldwide.”

In a separate report, investment company ReliantCo will launch UFX.com, a trading platform that will complement its other platform UFXMarkets, which deals in 90 tradable assets.
