The Dow closed down modestly, down 26.08 points and so did the S&P 500, down 9.08 points while the Nasdaq took more of a tumble, down 50.40, below its 50 day moving average.
Hot momentum  tech stocks like Netflix, Facebook, Tesla, and the like all fell as risk off money flowed into defensives like Procter & Gamble. However, in stock specific news NuSkin Entersprises (NYSE:NUS) rose 18.21% on news that  the Chinese government would fine them little more than $500,000 over sales tactics and product claims.  Herbalife (NYSE:HLF) also rose 6.7% thanks to Carl Icahn’s getting three more board seats.
