Today Estimize was featured in an article on Crain’s called “Fintech reshapes Wall Streetâ€. The story rehashes our humble beginnings and elaborates on the ways financial technology startup companies are changing Wall Street.

When they decided to raise funds from venture capitalists for their Manhattan financial technology startup Estimize, Leigh Drogen and Brian Smith headed to Silicon Valley. Mr. Drogen met with 15 VC firms in March 2012 but went home empty-handed.
“I fell flat on my face,” he said. “They didn’t understand my business or the history of the ecosystem in which I was building it.”
