OANDA Partners with Autochartist to Roll out Two Technical Analysis Features

Forex brokerage OANDA has released two innovative technical analysis options to its customers through its content alliance with Autochartist: Correlating Signals and Our Favorites.

The Correlating Signals feature, which is limited only to OANDA fxTrade users, will give investors e-mail messages highlighting trading opportunities that occur when support/resistance levels are in line with chart pattern predictions.

“At OANDA, we pride ourselves on delivering tools that enable our clients to improve their trading strategies and we are excited to add an exclusive indicator like Correlating Signals to their arsenals,” Trevor Young, OANDA corporation’s Vice President of Product Management, said in a press statement. “The OANDA partner program is a key method through which we continuously innovate, and our work with Autochartist helps us provide powerful, advanced technical analysis tools to retail FX traders.”

The other feature on the fxTrade platform is the Autochartist’s Our Favorites. The product gives users access to possible trading prospects with the strongest chance of touching the forecast price. Every opportunity is analyzed against historical performance with regards to the pattern type and instrument, as well as the time of the day it was spotted.

The OANDA Technical Analysis can be accessed by all live OANDA traders, while the fxTrade Practice account clients will only access the feature for a limited period of time.

Meanwhile, forex platform provider Tradable has hired a former Saxo Bank FX executive as its Chief Commercial Officer. Patrick Mortensen previously worked with Saxo Bank as the Regional Head of North America as well as the Head of Institutional Business and Institutional Marketing.
