ADS Securities has hired Aaron Chan as the Director of Retail Sales, based in Hong Kong, joining other financial industry firms that have been making a number of executive moves this summer.
The Abu Dhabi-based ADS Securities deals with various financial services such as forex and commodities trading and wealth management for individual and institutional clients. The appointment of Mr. Chan appears to be part of its efforts to boost sales in China and Hong Kong.
Before joining ADS Securities, Chan previously worked at GMO Click Holding for more than two years as Vice President. He also held senior FX roles in CMC Markets, BMI Funds Management Ltd, FXCM and Polaris Securities.
Meanwhile, Credit Suisse has parted ways with Thomas Richards, its Director and Senior Forex Options and Exotics Trader, marking the end of his four years at the group.
Credit Suisse has witnessed high-profile moves over the summer. Recently, it hired Leveraged Finance Banker Alison Howe, who previously worked with UBS. It also promoted Angie Ma as its new Managing Director of its Greater China operations.
Richards, who joined the Swiss bank in 2010, previously worked at RBS in the role of Senior Options Trader. It remains unclear about his next role after his departure from Credit Suisse.
Elsewhere, derivatives marketplace CME Group promoted John Pietrowicz as its Senior Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer. He succeeds James E. Parisi, who has retired from his position.
Pietrowicz joined CME Group in 2003, where he has held a number of executive roles such as Senior Managing Director, Corporate Development & Finance and Deputy Chief Financial Officer. In his new role, he will report to Phupinder Gill, CME Group Chief Executive Officer. To register for a free 2-week subscription to ForexMinute Premium Plan, visit www.forexminute.com/newsletter.
